About Amanda

Amanda Bailey Dermal Clinician in South Melbourne

Hello and welcome!

Believe it or not, I have been in the skin and aesthetic industry for just over 17 years. I began my career as a young 20 year old, first as a Beauty Therapist, then later went back to study my Bachelor of Health Science which enabled me to practice as a Dermal Clinician.

As a young 20 year old, I developed acne, which left me with acne scarring. It made me feel so self-conscious and affected my self-confidence. After many treatments, trying different products and most importantly looking at the health of my gut I was able to get rid of my acne. I can honestly say I have never had my acne come back.

Because of the way that I felt about my skin, it has given me a greater passion to help clients overcome acne and regain their self-confidence. However, it isn't just about clients with acne. It is also about clients that are feeling the aging process has caught up or just been through a very stressful time that has had an impacted on their skin.

For this reason, Restore Skin Clinic was birthed. My ultimate goal is for you to feel confident in who you are by having amazing skin. It warms my heart when clients come in feeling the weight of the world on their shoulders and leave feeling rejuvenated, fresh and most importantly a smile on their face.

Over the past 17 years I have had the privilege to work with many clients helping them achieve the skin they have always desired. I say privileged as clients are trusting me with guiding them through their skin journey. Something that I don’t take lightly!

I look forward to seeing you soon to Restore, Repair or Rejuvenate your skin.

More About Amanda

Gut health and how it affects the skin is huge in the media right now. However, it can be so confusing with what to believe.

I have seen first hand how gut health can affect the skin. When I had my acne I was unaware that my gut was under so much stress that it was unable to function effectively. Looking at the health of my gut was one of the biggest factors in eliminating my acne.

For this very reason, I decided to go back to uni and do my Masters in Nutrition so I can give you the most up to date information on how nutrition can affect your skin. Also, we are all unique so what works for me may not work for you. It is all about looking at it on an individual basis.
